I recently had the pleasure of staying at Coed Y Marchog Woodland Retreat, and let me tell you, it was a dream! As a marine biologist accustomed to the serene beauty of the ocean, I was pleasantly surprised by the tranquil woodland setting that awaited me. The lodge was perfectly equipped with everything we needed; I loved cooking up a storm in the fully stocked kitchen while the kids explored the magical outdoors filled with foxes and vibrant mushrooms. Each morning, I enjoyed a refreshing run through the lush grounds—spotting deer was an absolute highlight! The log burner added a cozy touch, turning our evenings into warm family gatherings. It's a fantastic escape for families and those seeking a peaceful retreat, and I can't recommend it enough! We'll definitely be back for another magical experience in the heart of nature.
